Day 5 of Skill-Shift - Johari Window and psychological modelling

The Johari Window model is a psychological framework designed to enhance self-awareness and improve interpersonal relationships. It emphasizes the importance of open communication and understanding hidden aspects of our personalities to foster stronger connections with others.

🎯 Morning Workshops:
We began by exploring the Johari Window model in practice, focusing on how it applies to relationships, both personal and professional. Through this session, we discovered the relevance of duality and flexibility in communication, leading to valuable insights about ourselves and others.

Next, we engaged in a case study discussion, analyzing the choices of fictional characters. This activity challenged us to explore moral reasoning and accountability, helping us understand how different perspectives shape decision-making.

🎥 Creative Break:
During the break, participants got creative with a videotaped segment rehearsal. This interactive activity was a fun way to revisit the lessons from the morning while fostering teamwork and group creativity.

💬 Afternoon Session:
The third session focused on personal values and managing challenges such as emotional, moral, and social dilemmas. We emphasized the importance of honest self-expression and avoiding overreactions, supported by an insightful video that reinforced these lessons.

🇷🇴 Cultural Evening:
The day wrapped up with a vibrant Romanian cultural event! Our Romanian friends treated us to folk performances, fascinating stories about historical figures, and a delightful array of traditional dishes. It was a beautiful celebration of diversity and the richness of cultural exchange.

✨ Final Thoughts:
Day 5 demonstrated how psychological frameworks like the Johari Window and cultural exchange go hand in hand in fostering personal growth and connection. Each session brought new learnings and strengthened our bond as a group.
