📢 Eco Impact Follow-up: Taking Action for a Cleaner Planet 🌍🌿

We’re incredibly proud of Stacey, one of our dedicated participants from the Youth Community Erasmus+ project, who took the initiative to make a positive environmental impact in her hometown. 💚

Stacey gathered a group of volunteers and led an inspiring local cleanup in her community’s forest. Her message was simple but powerful: “Even a small group of people can make a big difference in protecting the environment.” 🌱

In just 40 minutes, Stacey and her team collected four bags of trash, including a significant amount of discarded cigarette butts. She emphasized the importance of taking responsibility for our waste and shared a reminder: “Plastic takes over 200 years to decompose, so please, pick up your trash and start by making a small change today.”

She also highlighted the need to properly dispose of cigarette butts, which were found scattered all over the forest: “It’s a simple action that can have a huge impact on keeping our natural spaces clean.” 🚯
