Day 8 ✅ Collaboration, Creativity, and Open Exchange

The Open Day provided a platform for participants to showcase their organizations, foster collaboration, and take ownership of their learning through the Open Space methodology. The day was a blend of networking, hands-on environmental action, and sharing good practices, culminating in a celebration of cultural diversity.

⚡ Intro to the Day + Energizers:
Energizers set the tone for a dynamic day, preparing participants for engaging discussions and creative workshops.

🌟 NGO Fair:
Participants presented their organizations, sharing their missions, activities, and visions. This session provided an opportunity to explore potential collaborations, create new networks, and discuss ways to work together on future projects.

💡 Introduction to the Open Space Session:
Facilitators introduced the concept of Open Space, encouraging participants to take responsibility for workshops they cared about. Supported by trainers, participants brainstormed and developed workshops related to the training topics, such as sustainability, ecology, and community action. The guidelines ensured workshops were non-formal, participatory, and interactive, fostering an exchange of ideas and best practices.

🌳 Outdoor Cleanup Activity:
Participants took a break from planning to engage in a cleanup action at a nearby park. This hands-on activity reinforced the project’s sustainability focus while providing a reflective moment for participants to finalize their workshop ideas.

The evening wrapped up with a lively Intercultural Night, celebrating diversity through food, music, and dances from the participants’ countries. This joyous event highlighted the unity and mutual respect cultivated throughout the project.
